Pizza Delight - Halifax

Needed a quick meal before movie. Service excellent, buffet had good selection of dishes. Wine list limited but met wishes, will visit again.

The staff is friendly and professional. The food takes a bit too long to get prepared but at least it's fresh and prepared on the spot.The menu is limited I think but still has few good options. The buffet used to be good but now it's more expensive and depends on the time of the day, sometimes it's not fresh or most of it is just empty.They have a kids eat free a day or two a week which is really good. The kids menu has few different options with a drink and dessert. There is an activity room for kids with a tv and few toys, my kid loves going there FOR that reason.The half off appetizers at night is a really good deal.We've tried delivery once, we've messed up our order a bit and it took like an hour to get delivered (even though the store is a kilometre away).Overall it's a nice place for a quick lunch/dinner or decent pizza. Not too expensive and the service is nice.

My husband and I decided to stop in for supper. It was not busy at all for a Thursday night. We ordered a pizza to share and sadly it was barely warm. I don't really understand why they bring it to the table on a stand, with a place below for a heating element that wasn't even there. The waitress wiped our table off just before we sat down but the table felt sticky and the plastic menus were greasy - both could have used some good old fashioned soap and water. Service was just average and it was not even a busy night. No plans to go back to this location.

Either someone didn't show up for work or they are understaffed. There was 2 servers on the evening we were there and they were running around trying to keep up. They couldn't even get to cleaning off the tables or stocking the washrooms. I believe I heard them mention they didn't even have coin to give customers change. Very poor management! I definitely didn't hold anything against the servers, they did the best they could under the circumstances.

Love pasta and pizza. Have been here more than a few times but was so disappointed when we did have an issue, that we were ignored! First the plastic in the food was an eye opener, but know mistakes happen...but then a long hair in our pizza really grossed us out. The manager, just looked at it when we showed her both, stomped off and did nothing. No offer of money back/ another pizza or apology what so ever. We waited for about 10 minutes to see if she would come back but she didn't. We finally got up and left. Will never go back to this restaurant.
