Lower Deck Downtown Halifax

So, we arrived at 9ish. Found a seat at the bar. I really wanted to name the bar tender but I didn't get his name. Short dark hair, clean cut. We ordered food which was exceptional, and for the next 3hrs, the service, even though it was totally packed, was 10 star. Our drinks were never empty. We will definitely return and look for this bar tender! Also, this was Sunday July 29th 2018 never knew a Sunday night would be so hopping!

Travelling through Halifax? This is a must stop. You do not get to experience many places like this anywhere. At least, I haven't, and I have travelled quite a bit. Quaint maritime appeal. The Lower Deck is a great place to come check out the local bands. The food was delicious, especially for a pub and reasonably priced. I love that the whole bar sings along, its like hanging out with friends. In fact, the both times I visited I made sure to come down, and each time I made new friends there. Great atmosphere. Service can be a little slow at times. Advice: go early to get a decent seat.

Love the live bands the two I’ve seen have been great. The food, drinks, and atmosphere really compliments the city.
