Jenny's Place - Halifax

My friends and I have been going to Jenny 's since before COVID-19 hit, and ever since it reopened a couple weeks ago for our weekly brunch. Every time we 've gone, there has been something that has gone wrong. The first time, it was the server 'forgetting ' 2 out of the 3 meals that we had ordered. The most recent time, we waited almost half an hour to get a server to come take our order (both servers making eye contact with us, knowing we were waiting to be served, and no apology about the wait or explanation as to why we waited so long. We actually had to flag someone down to come take our order). We are very patient people and understand that more goes on behind the scenes than the tables see, but this was unacceptable. The food and prices are Jenny 's are fantastic, but the service has made us re-think our weekly brunch spot.

$25 for 2 people for breakfast is ridiculous. Plus 50 cents to use the machine to pay for breakfast. The deep fried potatoes were disgusting. The friar has to be changed. Had asked for extra jam extra cream and more coffee. Will not be back.

Typical pub food. Pretty good burger. The service was very good. The pub is spacious and well maintained. Lots of parking. Please don’t drink and drive.

This place used to be user friendly, not anymore! It has a Male dominant character . If they opened this place to the real neighborhood they would be extremely rewarded.

We went here for the first time with a group of friends for dinner. The food is fabulous . I loved my haddock dinner..best ever. My husband really liked his hot turkey sandwich. Great house wine...very inexpensive . Will be back.
