Fries And Co - Halifax

I used to visit Fries and Company quite regularly in the 1980s (and for a brief period in the 1990s) as I lived on Connolly Street.

Bad takeout experience. Scallops were tasty - very good. Clams we're alright - nothing special. Fries were terrible.

Tried here for lunch on a beautiful day in October around noon Parked about a block down Connolly on the street.

The best fish and chips I've had in Halifax so far. I'm from a rural area of NS with lots of small fishing villages, and this place really reminded me of home. Fish tasted very fresh, and I left feeling very full and satisfied.

Best fish and chips I've tasted on a Nova Scotia trip and the portion was huge. Also, recommend their chocolate pie. It's delicious! However, their mussels and butter were extremely salty- should avoid.
