Freeman's Fairview - Halifax

Like all Freemans, food is not very good. It's a good place for a drink, but that's it. If you have to eat here, get the pizza, but this is really the only thing that's okay.

We decided to have wings and a movie at home, thought and thought...Freeman's! Have been there many times and was never disappointed...until now. Drove to Fairview and had great expectations...the menu states JUMBO WINGS! Yes exactly what I want ... 2 orders of your jumbo wings to go...one with breading and one without sauces on the side.....YUM! so I thought...Oh, that's $29.00 before tip for 20 wings...don't care JUMBO WINGS...big fat juicy wings...bar tender who handles take out is tooo busy, so a sever asks me for the order...she gives info to kitchen, will be right out....she leaves the building...shift over. Finally I get anybody to pay attention to me...its a half hour later...I see the cook hand her my order which has been sitting on their Pizza oven... I should have checked but didn't ...the outcome? 20 tiny wings dried out, no napkins or cutlery,they don't know where I'm going to eat them! Anyway you destroyed our evening...I don't complain about price...$29.00 for 20 wings...shame on you to The Owner or Manager .... Do you know how many I've told this story to already....By the way I'm a red seal chef I live by the menu...JUMBO WINGS? Your lying .... wait

Garbage overcooked food..really poor attitude service when we called to complain...once we spoke to the owners they apologized and offered certificates....almost 2 weeks later we still have not recieved them...is there a negative star rating chart...

This weekend sat by Freeman and enjoyed the beautiful terrace weather. Our servers Angeleah and Dorris were about fun and kindness that we really enjoyed our time.

Ambience, personal touches to decor, welcoming atmosphere, excellent food and top class service made ours a very memorable visit and shall never be forgotten. Bobby Jo, our beautiful and very professional server was simply a joy and made sure we were well cared for. Please don't pay attention to grumps writing on this site be grateful there are some people you can never please BUT you do not wake up next to each morning !
