East Coast Bakery - Halifax

East Coast Bakery is the place for the most beautiful bagels, cookies, bread and other amazing bakeries. This is a commercial bakery however with a retail front, so you actually see that they take the product out of the oven. Super friendly staff with a delicious dog treat when you bring a furry friend. Get there early on weekend for Bagels as they sell, but bread is not ready until 11, but you can pay in advance and back to collect it. And you will return as it is so fresh and perfect for any sandwich or peanut butter spread!

Was here a few times. the personal is really friendly and the Bagels/Brote are really good. the next trip to quinpool.

This is one of my favorite places in Halifax. The bagels are delicious and the cookies are delicious. You make this great chocolate filled bread and it is wonderful. The people who work there are very friendly and we talked to the owner more than one occasion.

Very friendly staff, jerry is a jewel. challah brot and bagels are baked à la real montreal fashion and make sure to try the cookies. they are delicious. place doesn't try too hard. just a great bakery.
