Molasses Grill - Halifax

Molasses Grill is a wonderful dining experience! You are made to feel welcome and catered to all during your meal. Chef and Karen along with Lauren make your experience one of relaxation and enjoyment. Dwayne, our server is a great host, adding fun to the evening. Wish we had more restaurants of this caliper, however, Molasses Grill has set the bar rather high.

My family came to south Boston for a funeral but it also happened to be 3 birthdays in the family that same weekend. I overheard another guest in the hotel talking about what a gem this restaurant was. I was able to make a reservation for the same night. They did not disappoint. The food was amazing, the staff was super patient with our large group and they were able to accommodate us in a private room.I will definitely return.

Loved this placedelicious local cheeses, seasonal entresand cheese cake was creamy and luscious.will go any time we can. No reservations so got there early as it will fill up. Tecomend highly. The chef even came out of kitchen to great us. This restuarant has a full bar with creative coctails. Cant say enough great things.

We were delighted to find this fine dining establishment with in-house chef hidden in downtown Halifax county. The menu changes seasonally, the food was fresh and cooked just right, and the service was outstanding. Pictured is their fall chicken dish, bbq shrimp dish, and sweet potato crema brûlée.
