Temperance - Halifax

I absolutely love this place. It’s conveniently located, the staff are lovely and the choice is superb. I’ve eaten here quite a few times and have never been disappointed. I love the fact that the food is prepped right in front of you too.

Super friendly staff, AMAZING coffee and their banana bread is to die for! Really really recommend this place been here 2 days in a row now and I might have to come again tomorrow!

Often when I visit Halifax I've missed this street food stall in the Borough Market. Had an excellent Mexican Flatbread, lovely and warming on this cold early December day. Very nice atmosphere with the excellent benefit of vegan sandwich soup.

There are vegan options a-plenty at this modern veggie café in the centre of Halifax. Prepared in an open kitchen, you can try dishes such as garlic forest mushrooms on rye, hummus superfood bowls and aubergine and romesco bagels. There was one vegan dessert option, which was a delicious granola cookie, sometimes they have vegan doughnuts and cruffins too, if you're lucky! Heaps of milk options, including Oatly and ethically-sourced coffees. Customer service is exceptional, staff know lots of their customers by name and could not be friendlier. They even gave me a complimentary tumeric latte to try. When can I go back?! Updated from previous review on 2019-08-29

Lovely food in the borough market with a covered seating area. Good range of options and all really tasty. The person who served us was really friendly and helpful too.
