Square Chapel - Halifax

A community supported event location, that also offers food drink. Some great different happenings (check out the indie movies) as it is a tour venue. Decent beer food on hand if you just want a calmer place to chill at

I went to see Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde last night and it was fantastic, I never really used to go to the square chapel in it's old format but this new one make it looks fantastic. The reception area is large and welcoming a perfect place to meet and have a drink before the show. The theatre is a nice size so that everyone can see but also feels personal, I was sat on the back row and I still felt as though the actors were talking to me. I really enjoyed it and I will be back

The wedding on Saturday of Andrew and Jess was just amazing. The venue was just very special and unique being only the second one since refurbishment. The staff led by Mo Adam were so helpful we cannot speak highly enough as nothing was too much trouble in making this day a long lasting memorable occassion. Another mention to a staff member,Will Brook who went over and behond the call of duty to help in anyway possible. Thank you Square Chapel and all concerned.

Fantastic arts centre adjoining the beautiful Piece Hall. Staff could not be more helpful and friendly and certainly go the extra mile for everyone. The small menu is excellently cooked and very enjoyable. With a wide variety of great beers who could ask for more when out to see a band, play or film.
