It's not crowded, and if you come at the right time, a small pool forms where kids can safely swim or wade in the water, away from the shore break. The only downside is that there are no showers or bathrooms here, but I guess that's what keeps this beach off the beaten path.
Nice shore break and fun. Good for body boarding or body surfing. Sandy and nice big beach
There actually weren't a lot of keiki on this beach the few days we visited which I didn't mind at all! I had enough of crying screaming kids running amok at the place we were staying at. It's a nice peaceful beach. There are a few chairs and a hammock owned by and near the Ke Iki Beach Bungalows. The sand itself is relatively litter free. If you look to one side you see tropical palm trees waving in the wind. The other side has some tidepools and lava rocks. The sand itself is a little more coarse than at other beaches I've been to but if you look closely it's made of very tiny shells, small smooth stones, and feels lovely on bare feet. The times I was here it was a great place to walk along the shore, read a book and relax.
I'm pretty sure this place doesn't exist. We tried 3 different gps apps and it's no where to be found. No answer on the phone. Very disappointed.
