Kono's Northshore Haleiwa

The staff was friendly and efficient, providing helpful explanations of the menu options. I ordered the old-school sandwich with chips and a soft drink. The bread was fresh and soft, while the chips were crispy and delicious. There’s really nothing to complain about. The tables are shaded, making it a great spot to eat on hot days. Overall, I’d give this place a solid 4 out of 5 for fast takeout options.

Very friendly staff, good food. Had a little problem with our order, they forgot one of our breakfast Burritos. But when I got it, it was very good. Also the outer wildlife was amusing?.

I?m so glad we stopped here! The food was superb, we devoured our plate and had to order seconds. It came out fast! Food is fresh, staff was helpful with suggestions-being that it was our first time here.

We got a breakfast bomber (chuns with avocado) and a sandwich. Both were delicious. I?m not normally a big fan of breakfast burritos, but I thought the chuns was very tasty. It?s also a cool experience to eat outside next to many wild chickens that sometimes come very close to you.

Initially, I came across Kono's excellent reviews online, but when we arrived in Haleiwa, we decided to explore other breakfast options. Fortunately, we ended up at Kono's. The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially since we couldn't make up our minds about what to order. Our breakfast was fantastic! We tried the Haleiwa Bomber Burrito with jalapeños and the Kahlua pig sliders on Hawaiian rolls. The pork in both dishes was juicy and packed with flavor. The burrito reminded me of my time in San Diego, although I wished it had been a bit spicier. I also enjoyed dining outside with the friendly chickens at Kono's. Overall, the combination of great food, a relaxed atmosphere, and beautiful weather made for a perfect start to our day.
