Woodrow's British Pub - Hakodate

I just found woodrows from one curse. I walked back to my hotel from the Hakodate Mountains, and I decided to take a bit of a ampling route. So I have no idea where exactly this place is, and if it wasn't for the photos, then I would swear I invented it. I cleaned my head in, more out of curiosity than necessary, and the renter smiled and agreed when I wanted to make some photos. then I thought, hey, drink what you didn't. a drink was an oh, let me try that one, oh and that, so that I, when I left, I was very drunk. but I enjoyed my time in the company or the owner a lot! I found her absolutely charming! she lived in blighty and worked here in a pub, so she knows what she's about. be a good choice of native and native beers, with a very authentic English pub being, well knows that I was in enough to know. the decor was charming authentic. it felt like more of a village pub, with local team regalia. the local drinkers were friendly and there was a game baseball on the corner on a large screen. I was served a part of fishing and chips that were made home by their fair hands. I saw how they mix up the teig of scratches, season, scatter my fish and scatter, along with my chips. and it was delicious as fu. I had a great night here. a wonderful end of my trip to hakodate, a very welcome surprise finding and an absolute must visit when they find it 're in the city. find this little jewel of a place, you will not be disappointed. the cocktails were also great. I really had some fair drinks.

I have given the bartender a promise that I will write a review, and here I am: three weeks too late, but promise is a promise. it was the first time that I was after hakodate (hokkaido in general for a short trip and I was thirsty for a good drink and eat something. the barkeeper had a nice selection of good beer and she was a wonderful talk partner; I learned some funny local things, their story worked as barkeeper in Britain (she was even in a book there! , and like the beer business and tourism in the midst of the pandemic. I met wonderful new people, made new connections, and the only regret was that I was not able to fulfill my promise to go back before I had to leave d: but still I want to be back in hakodate, and if I do, I will definitely plan to be back at this bar: the bar was cozy and cozy and I felt immediately welcome and happy there. P.S she makes amazing fish and chips (with a secret ingredient and if they go it safe to get it, they won't regret it.

Can not recommend this place enough, especially if they are a gaijin. the owners and patrons are friendly, eating tastes fantastic, and the coarse is diverse and good quality. the owner is also fluent in English! you could ask from a good pub.

Yuko is a great and funny host, we had fun! beautiful fish and chips and other delicious finger food. 1.3 km from the main railway station, with the taxi it was 650 yen. Give him a shot and support the locals!
