Brookside Bed Breakfast - Haines Falls

Very nice B&B! Very clean! And great location, located very close to North-South Lake Park entrance. I've been there because of a running race very close by and the owner was very nice giving me directions and suggestions on where to find anything I needed. Drinking a coffee on the porch at night with that silence around is veeeeery relaxing.

The Brookside Bed and Breakfast is the ideal place to stay! This beautiful and historic house is run by two amazing hosts who make you feel right at home. The breakfast is always delicious, the location is ideal (minutes from North-South Lake, Tannersville, and Hunter), and the rates are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Just left the Brookside- had a wonderful stay. the hosts are absolutely amazing- laid-back, so friendly. i can’t stress enough how nice they were. their home is comfortable and beautiful and we enjoyed staying there enormously.

We had such a wonderful, relaxing weekend at the Brookside and highly recommend to anyone planning to stay in the Hunter Mountain Kaaterskill Forest area! Markus and Nuala were so welcoming, kind, friendly, and accommodating they made us feel right at home. We stayed in the Master Suite with our 5 month old daughter and it was just perfect, with a corner where we could set up her crib, plenty of floor space for playing and walking, and the private balcony where we could hang out after she went to sleep but still hear her through the screen door. Everything felt super clean and safe (there were even outlet covers and cordless blinds) and everyone was so chill about us having a baby in tow. Markus makes some delicious breakfasts and Nuala gave us some great tips on places to go in the area, as well as a tour of her garden! The house itself was also really cool (and well maintained) and we took full advantage of the wrap around porch and garden areas. I could go on, but in short, if you're looking for a comfortable home base for your Catskill adventures, look no further!

We loved our stay here, so glad we found them. Unpretentious, peaceful, Very Clean lodging and yummy breakfast, close to great hiking trails and skiing nearby. One of the nicest parts of our stay was talking with the owner Marcus. Lovely guy, and he has great taste in music btw ; Their hospitality was sincere and generous. Already looking forward to returning to the area and would definitely stay with them again. Pam Marco
