The vegan and gluten-free burger at this restaurant was not the best I've ever had. The taste was lacking and it came with salad instead of chips, which were fried in animal fat.

I tried both the burger and the pizza and they were both delicious. I was pleasantly surprised that they were not greasy, which can be a common issue with vegan options in non-vegan restaurants. I highly recommend asking for the vegan version of the burger, as it comes with cheese and is just as tasty.

We tried both of the only two vegan options available at this restaurant. The pizza seemed more like a flatbread and was just okay. The burger patty was plain and the bun was very dry, but the side salad was the standout dish. Unfortunately, there aren't many vegan options around, but looking back, the vegan salads at the cafe next door may have been a better choice.

This restaurant is very laid-back and has extremely friendly staff who are always smiling. The food is overall very good! We tried the Pork Ribs and Fish & Chips and both were delicious. These items can be found on their specials menu, which is written on a chalkboard in the bar. Don't be surprised if you only find a Pizza menu online, as they offer more than just pizza. Today, they also had a beef bacon burger and a poke bowl with salmon on their specials menu. The beers they offer are also quite enjoyable. As this is our first day in New Zealand, we can't compare prices to other restaurants, but I would say the prices are similar to those in a standard European city.
