Kalas Pizzeria - Haerjedalen

This charming Italian-style restaurant offers excellent service. The staff were very welcoming and even assisted with translating the menu, which was only in Swedish. The seafood soup and fondue were both delicious. However, the seafood pasta was overcooked and lacked flavor. The saltimbocawurst was a bit dry, but overall flavorful. The portions are generous. The complimentary Focaccia was fresh, soft, and incredibly tasty.

The restaurant has overwhelmed and untrained staff who constantly push for additional purchases, including upgraded coffee options, leaving customers feeling pressured to stick with a basic coffee order.

I ordered a calzone with tomato sauce on top and it was not good. The sauce dried out on the pizza, making it soggy and giving it a burnt tomato sauce flavor. I had trusted previous reviews of this pizza, but now I know better for future visits. Hopefully I can try other nearby pizza options next time.

Very good pizza and nice staff. When we were there, it was very empty as all the others were on the slopes, but it was quiet and beautiful, beautiful surroundings and good atmosphere! A must if you're still in Vemdalen!

Ordered a calzone which looked pretty sad, tasted so-so, very dry. At least they made an honest attempt and it only took 15 minutes and a quarter. 5/5
