Absolutely fantastic! The bibimbap and japchae were both amazing and made me feel like I was back home in Korea. A must-try for anyone yearning for authentic Korean cuisine!
The food here is absolutely fantastic! We loved it so much that we visited two days in a row just to enjoy the yangnyeom chicken—it's that amazing. The fried vegetable dumplings are incredible, and the rice is delightful as well. Everything is prepared on-site, ensuring that every dish is fresh and served hot, with no items sitting under heat lamps. If you're in the vicinity, be sure to stop by and try something from this place!
Hmmm... I don't know where to start with this place. This is a small restaurant inside the mall. They had a pretty good variety in their menu but I personally thought they were pricey, especially after tasting their food. They are supposedly serving Korean food and I believe the older lady working was Korean, but their food did NOT taste authentic Korean either. I was born in Korea so I'm confident in my tastebuds when tasting Korean food. We ordered fried yangneom chicken and it honestly just tasted like red pepper paste and corn syrup. It was very disappointing, but maybe their other menu is better?
This was the first time I 've seen a Korean restaurant in a mall food court stall setup. I saw Kimbap somewhere on the menu on line as a special but it was not available that day. They did have a warmer on the counter with what looked like very large bao buns. I had the pork bun, a good amount of flavorful meat inside a tender, warm bun.I also ordered Yangnyeom, or korean fried chicken. I had boneless, not sure if bone-in was available. Crispy and juicy chunks of fried chicken in a flavorful, spicy sauce. Served with a small side of broccoli and large serving of white rice. Finally, I ordered Japchae, or glass noodles with beef. This generous portion of clear, sweet potato noodles with lots of vegetables were in a delicious soy based sauce. The beef however , while tasty and reasonably tender, did sort of have the consistency of the type of thin sheets of steak you would buy frozen to make cheese steaks. Overall, it was a great Japchae and would order again and try a different protein. If you are in the area of the Hampshire mall in Hadley, MA, I would definitely give this place a try.
