Pub On The Park - Hackney

There were issues with the main speakers not working, forcing us to use a portable PA speaker for speeches and music. The staff were aware of this issue but failed to inform the organizers beforehand. The buffet food that had been pre-ordered did not have any labels indicating whether it was suitable for vegetarians, vegans, or those with gluten allergies. The food itself was mediocre. After the event, the bride personally went to the pub to address these issues. However, the manager responded by gaslighting her about the broken glass and displayed intimidating behavior. This experience was disappointing and shameful. I would not recommend this establishment for a casual drink, let alone hosting an event. The service was lacking on multiple levels, highlighting the pub's disregard for customer satisfaction. Instead of investing in improving customer experience, the pub seems to take its customers for granted and refuses to acknowledge its mistakes. I suggest exploring other options if you are looking for a venue to host an event.

Although this doesn't pertain to a specific London restaurant, I had a disappointing experience with Atul Kochar's outside catering at 'Pub in the Park' Tunbridge Wells. The food was terrible and I hope this is not indicative of his restaurant chain as a whole.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the beef brisket roast at this restaurant. I initially had lower expectations since it appears to be more of a pub focused on drinking, but I was impressed. The TVs were also great for watching football games.

Myself and my good friend took a visit to your restaurant on a Saturday. Amazing spot sat outside in the sun, amazing prices. We ordered the nachos and the chicken wings, and all I can say is …. WOW. The best meal we have ever had in our time in London. Can’t fault it, every part of the meal and the service was exquisite. Couldn’t recommend this enough. I want to bring everyone I know here. WILL BE BACK! Be proud of this establishment

Me and my girlfriend of 9 months (solid future wifey , were on a cold winter walk through London fields when we stumbled upon this beast of a pub over looking the fields of Hackney… we decided to order a couple of cold beverages to quench our thirsty cake holes when we thought “hmmmmm…let’s order some chippy wippies and some onion wings”. 10 minutes later they arrived in a wonderful plastic casket surrounded by immense condiments…. They went down a glorious treat and they left us feeling very romantic …. This led to us booking a trip to New York where we would re create the events from the hit film ‘New Years eve’ starring Ashton Kutcher and the pretty girl from Glee. Would deffo recommend and will be returning before you can say the word …. “Holiday” Thanks Cal :
