Curio Cabal - Hackney

The sweetest little caffe on the kingsland road. locally to me, so throw away a stone to get a coffee. they also have a nice small terrace and some Wi-Fi if they want to set up their office and work for a bit. the terrace is large and while it looks on the main street, gives them the high hecken a little private sphere and rest. not full of hipsters, but cooled natives when I went there. they are also known to make small independent exhibitions of independent artists.

I give curio cabal a quite solid review here that I think is very justified by the amazing food offered by ta ta ta ta here. as I understand, it began as a kind of pop-up residence in this coffeeshop, but has now gone permanently (two to Saturday nights,) for which I am always great. I think there are plans for lunch. ta ta ta ta means that he and she are led in mandarin by zijun meng and ana gonçalves, who both worked with nuno mendes in viajante and chiltern firehouse. they serve an amazing family feeling fusion of Chinese and Portuguese life means. miso will return here!

Cute retro cafe with a hipster feel. Small menu but good options for all. Nice for a coffee or tea in their outdoor area. Lots of people on laptops so a nice place to work from.

Good coffee, very nice brunch and friendly staff. The home made baked beans are really good. Also a great place to bring your laptop and work.

I wish I could say that I loved Curio Cabal another trendy, quirky, cool cafe in Haggerston but my latest visit there left me incredibly underwhelmed We visited on an early Saturday afternoon, in search of a late lunch and enquired about the soup of the day and the selection of sandwiches, which were all met by a rather vague and unenthusiastic response. Undeterred, I ordered the soup "asparagus and ... some other vegetables and toasted bread with cheese. The soup arrived with the bread and was quite tasty, but the cheese hadn't.
