Great food at a good price. Staff are friendly and pretty : I've been there many times as part of large small groups and the service is exemplary.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, especially the bread which is beautifully and delicately sliced. The pictures on the menu are from the 'set 3' breakfast. The food was not greasy and we received 3 hash browns instead of the usual 2 served at most places. The bread was especially impressive, unlike the usual bread I don't typically finish, but this time I did. The tea and coffee served with the meal are standard, so don't expect fancy barista-style drinks. I would recommend this place to others and would definitely go back. There are other local cafes that may be a bit cheaper, but overall I had a great experience here.

I frequently dine at this restaurant and absolutely love the food and service. The chicken escalope is a standout dish, with a generous portion and perfectly cooked. The half-pound hamburger is also delicious. They serve a fantastic English breakfast with excellent Italian coffee. The dishes are always served hot and fresh. The liver and speck swirl is another delightful option. The baked jacket potato with chili and cheese is a favorite of mine, with a large potato and flavorful chili topping. The service is always prompt, attentive, and friendly. It can get busy around lunchtime, so I recommend arriving earlier. Overall, this restaurant in Hackney offers great value and quality dining experience. Highly recommended.
