Toscana - Hackettstown

We had an incredible experience from start to finish. The warm and welcoming atmosphere was perfect for any occasion, and the family-run staff truly stood out with their professionalism and passion. The food was outstanding, making it nearly impossible to choose just one dish. We will definitely return to explore more of the menu. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

This is a charming Italian restaurant with a cozy atmosphere that truly reflects the welcoming vibe of a family-run establishment. The seating is close, providing an intimate dining experience. The food and desserts were delicious, but I noted a limited selection of vegetarian options. As someone visiting from outside New Jersey, I found the BYOB concept to be intriguing. I believe we did well pairing our wine with the dishes. While the service was friendly, it could be improved, particularly when it comes to drinks. Overall, it's a great Italian dining option in the area.

The service here is exceptional—our server was incredibly attentive, even though the restaurant was nearly full. However, I’m not a fan of the seating arrangement; it’s a small space with a lot of tables, which made for a cozy but not ideal atmosphere for a date. As for the food, I thought the fettuccine Bolognese was good, but it didn’t quite measure up to the best I’ve had. My boyfriend was persuaded by our server (or possibly the owner) to try the branzino special. He enjoyed it, but it’s not something he would order again. I would recommend giving the place a try, though.

My wife and I brought my mother to dinner for his birthday. We eat a lot and while we often find places that are pretty good, we almost never find a place where we are all excited. The ambience is very comfortable. Freshly baked bread was delicious. We had a number of courts and they were all excellent. The serving sizes were just right and nothing was salted. Very authentic.

I felt as though I was leaving my own family's house when I left Toscana. This is fine dining in Hackettstown. The food was cooked perfectly. The chefs really know what they're doing and the wait staff are masterful at handling large tables. Take this review seriously. Toscana knows 100% what they are doing.
