Frank's Trattoria (hackettstown)

I have half a tablet of lemon chicken and half dish of sausage and pepper and half dish antipasta salad for my daughters 5th birthday party for family.... No! I had sincerely hoped for some!! Never had a bad experience and the staff is always friendly and professional!

I ordered a big Frank's special cake and was disappointed. They were insulated with all the blows, including cheese. The price wasn't worth it. I occasionally stop for a few slices and they are loaded with blows so I was surprised. I'll mention the next time I stop.

I had catering for my sons from here. Everything was absolutely delicious! People saved the food. Thank you for helping me make my sons special!

Edit: I have since had better interactions with the staff and food, updated to 4 stars. Ordered this evening from Grubhub. They don't use Grubhub drivers, and instead send their own. Fine, I would usually prefer that. That said, they were a bit late no big deal, but what is a big deal is that they almost left with my food. Doorbell rang and I was busy came out a minute or so later and the driver was pulling out of the driveway without leaving the food. Thankfully I was able to flag him down before he left. For the food itself: Fried Calamari was a bit bread y, but otherwise not bad. Meatball Sub was really good nice sauce. I might go here again, but I don't plan on getting delivery again.

We got a large plain pizza earlier this week. We go a little further from home because up until now Frank’s was the best option. Super bummed this time. Pizza was super small! Did you give us a small pie? Because it was still $16. Maybe 2 normal size slices and the rest embarrassing. Like slices that would barely feed a small child. And so much crust! Were you running low on sauce and cheese? Also under cooked. We have been in the store for slices and never saw such a pathetic pie sitting on their counter. Usually slices are huge and we have some to take home. Hope they do better in the future. Because the pizza near us sucks and we really liked this place before. ???
