Phoenix Hotel - Gympie Regional Council

Great rooms, great meals, great price. This place is very new and ticks all the boxes for a frequent traveller.

The food is pretty average for the prices charged. The portion sizes are substantial but it's more quantity over quality

We always say we will order something other than a steak when we go to The Phoenix but we simply cannot go passed their Black Angus Rump! There is a gorgeous back deck to enjoy a lunchtime drink and a gambling room if you are into that! Just wish they didn't have Keno in the dining room as it isn't my thing.

Who would have thought chicken and seafood could be so good? Chicken breast, 1/2 Moreton bay bug, prawns in a creamy garlic sauce on mash - divine. Not cheap $28 but as a treat it was great.

We have eaten here several times and each time the meals have been very good. There is a big variety on the menu to choose from.
