Gold Nugget Truck Stop

If you want a big meal then this is the place to go. Those in our group who had a steak said the meals were very good. We had a chicken dish and it was ok but not fantastic.

Delicious Food & friendly service. We stop there every trip. Try their flat white coffee it's scrumptious. Toilets are always spotless as well.

This is a must stop for travellers at Gympie. Great value, friendly service fabulous carrot cake. We always have to share as it is a large serve.

Stopped here to refresh and for a bite to eat. Looked at menu and thought value was great. 19.00 for a rump steak. I thought why not. Then "walla" out comes one of the biggest juiciest steaks with veggies that I have ever ordered in quite a while. Steak was tender, service was good. Sauces and dressings are free. Airconditioning super cold so if travelling with wife and kids don't forget your hoodie or jumper. In my opinion, great value for money and a nice quiet place to stop. Don't miss the turn off just after the Puma when heading north otherwise you will be disappointed. Enjoy :)

We recently had dinner here made the mistake of sitting under the air conditioning unit was like we were in the snow. Great variety on the menu at family friendly budget prices. Milkshakes were beautiful but that was it. Large meals but average cooking. Chips were undercooked and chicken tasted like it had been in the freezer for 12 months. Mixed grill massive but the lamb chop was all fat and no meat and with undercooked chips it was dissapointing. Other than that the rest of the meal was good. Fat sausages taste great and runny eggs cooked to perfection. Might try the burgers next time if we return. Easy place to stop on your way up the highway
