Island Quizine - GWYNN OAK

Went down to Silver Spring, MD to a restaurant that was closed. Walk down the block was happy to notice Island Cuisine from Woodlawn, MD. Very familiar w/IC n Woodlawn. However the outside serving should be handled differently. Food dishes should be covered to keep nasty flies from landing. This issue may not bother some, but it does others!

I ordered ahead of time. I received my notice from PostMates that my order is ready, but when I get here, it isn?t ready and I had to wait 20 minutes. I waited and was told to wait 10 minutes. I came back and it still was ready. To add insult to injury they said we can?t help that. The cook told us 10 minutes. The won?t refund or give a discount!! Horrible service!!!!!

I just had the worst customer service from this location. I placed my order by phone then arrived 45 minutes later to pick it up. After I paid the young girl got on her phone whilei was waiting. I said I called my order in 45 minutes ago is it ready ? The young girl ROLLS HER EYES at me then proceeded to take my food and but it in the bag. ...I can't remember her name But I will iterate it WAS NOT Stacy that was rude . It was a young girl working at the Gwynn oak location

?????? I highly recommend!! Pictured: Cajun salmon and macaroni and cheese. I ordered through uber eats and the food came hot and fresh and omg so good. It makes no sense how good this is.

I absolutely love this place when I don 't feel like cooking or just in need of good Jamaican Cuisine ???? and they have a great selection from soups,salads, porridge,and amazing true to taste natural juices and pastries for your sweet tooth. I will be back to this place always because the staff was very pleasant also. One Love.
