Y Castell - Gwynedd

Three adults in our group visited this bar with a terrace and indoor seating. We chose to sit outside so that a friend could smoke. The seating was comfortable enough and the staff spoke Welsh and were helpful. Unfortunately, they had a good selection of beer but did not stock bottled water.

This pub in Pwllheli is known for its honesty, friendliness, and authenticity. The staff is excellent, especially the small bald man with a slight speech impediment. His friend Jonathan also stopped by and was incredibly cool. If you're lucky, you might get the chance to meet him as well. The drinks are great, the jukebox is good, and the atmosphere is welcoming and homey. We hope to see Jonathan again soon.

We had a great experience at this charming pub on the main street. The landlady, staff, and regular customers were all very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We enjoyed a variety of drinks each night during our stay and are already looking forward to returning on our next visit.

Been here many times it has a good selection of beers and is inexpensive. The staff are very chatty. I haven't stayed but I've heard from friends that it's a good setup.

This is my second favourite pub in Pwllheli after the Pen Lan. I go there often. Its where my parents first met. My dad was drunk and holding himself up on a post right next to where the jukebox is now.
