Eating was amazing! I really enjoyed the porcelain city meal with pancakes and a tofu and rice dish plus a side of broken flower wings. my other half enjoyed a new yorker burger with a side of creamy mushrooms and garlic bread. we have appreciated both the aromen and the fresh salate and the veg on the side. also the decorations are so funny!
We had heard many good things about voltaire, so we were very excited to visit. the atmosphere and the personal are beautiful and the eating was extraordinary. in the menu there are many possibilities. we had a burger, the hickory snokehouse and a biscoff sunshade for dessert. huge portions so they get hungry!
They are no longer open on the afternoon. darren was friendly enough to offer me a take-off, but only accepted cash and no card or bank transfer. He led me to an ATM at the BP station they didn't have. I had to run over 3 km around kwik save to the next cash machine. this delay caused the eating I had ordered to be so bad. I ordered the bada boom gluten-free and the chocolate caked (has gluten). it took a lot to walk to get here, the nearest bus stop is 1.5 km away and a slightly inclined road. I couldn't enjoy sitting outside. it also found carb overload full of kartoffel chips and a hash brown. the grinding time is very dry, since no sauces were provided. the donut looks and has the texture of a donuts, but did not taste like one and had a fake eating taste on it. the patty is also gluten-free, which is good to adapt to most meals in order to be gluten-free. updated by previous review on 2021-10-07
I've been to great restaurants in NYC, LA, Sydney, London, and more. Voltaire is up there with the best of the best, with warm and welcoming staff and decor plus five star food. We loved the Beast (we got it twice), the Slow Boat to China (such interesting flavours), and adored the creamy garlic mushrooms and the wok fried tofu. Lovely desserts too doughnuts, brownies and sundaes galore. Beware the American Dream Platter on the dessert menu, it's delicious but a bit of a monster! You might need three people to get through it. On the other hand, give the loaded hot chocolate a try! Updated from previous review on 2021-08-28
