Will be returning to this little diamond of a eatery see you next time.
This is a good fish and chip restaurant overall. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. The portions are generous and they have a wide variety of options on the menu. I recommend parking at the National Trust car park and walking over the bridge to get there. Enjoy your meal!
It's great to see Sblash reopen for the season after the winter. This fish and chip shop is one of the best in the area. The fisherman's platter was delicious and offered excellent value.
I had been eagerly anticipating our visit all week. Unfortunately, you cannot make reservations at this restaurant. When our party of 7 arrived, we found only 2 customers seated at a table for 8, with other empty tables around. The server seemed reluctant to let us dine in and did not offer any assistance. I found her behavior to be quite rude. We ended up getting takeout, but the service was chaotic and disorganized, with one customer waiting 40 minutes before speaking up. Despite the delicious food, my evening was ruined by the poor service. This was a stark contrast to the warm welcome we received at Gwesty Ty Newydd. I will not be returning to Sblash in the future, as we were made to feel very unwelcome. It was a highly disappointing experience.
Avoid. Very rude staff and mediocre food. The staff need a lesson or two in customer service here. You are an Inconvenience to them! Very abrupt, rude and the food is cold. Fish and chips is ok but not the best. Give it a miss and take a trip to the pub on the front instead.
