Lakeside Cafe - Gwynedd

Three of us stopped here for lunch after getting off the train, before heading back to the Oakley Arms. Two of us had coffee and cakes from the counter, while I made the mistake of ordering soup which took a long time to come out and lacked flavor. I would consider returning, but only for a hot drink and dessert.

This is a great place to have lunch. The cafe was bustling when we arrived but the staff were very welcoming and even allowed our dog in the front area. We ordered the lasagne and chips, as well as the chicken strips with coleslaw and chips. The portions were generous (almost too much for me to finish). The service was quick and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be returning.
