Dylanwad Da - Gwynedd

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, but what really surprised us was the presence of a Barista coffee machine. We asked if they had coffee or even a glass of wine available. Upstairs, there are a series of small, cozy rooms with a variety of seating options. The table service is excellent, and guests can choose from a selection of wines or select a bottle from the impressive collection for a small cork fee. The desserts range from traditional European to delicious Welsh treats. We will definitely be returning next week, as this hidden gem is truly amazing. It is without a doubt one of the best places in Dolgellau.

Return trip to gwin dylanwad wine shop unfortunately go downhill now sale from date chocolate. we did not notice until we had loaded and left the city, but it shows only a bad load rotation of the active and lacking love to detail through...the employees mainly to the trips they charge.

My wife and I were spending a couple of nights in Dolgellau and, never wanting to miss an opportunity for a good glass of wine, we were delighted to find this fantastic wine bar and cellar. Dylan and Llinos made us so welcome and were...very accommodating in allowing us to stay a little while beyond official closing time. It was great to chat about their story and the vast selection of wines they had and that included some wines you can't regularly find elsewhere. Needless to say I had to return this morning to take a couple home!! Diolch yn fawr iawn. a iechyd da.

We stopped in for lunch based on a recommendation from the owners of Afon Rhaiadr Country House, Gareth and Gina. Despite the disappointing weather, the warm welcome quickly lifted our spirits. We tried the Welsh Rarebit and homemade soup, both of which were delicious. The rarebit was particularly outstanding, the best we've ever had. The wine selection was great, and we enjoyed a lovely bottle of Italian white wine. Prices were reasonable. We enjoyed our meal so much that my wife wanted to return the next day, but sadly we didn't have the time as we were heading home. She is already thinking of reasons to go back to Dolgellau so we can dine and drink here again.
