I took nothing except idli, bara and dhosa, but they have other options also as lemon rice etc. bara pro pc is 8/ and it is also very tasty. another option in the platform is the irctc canteen, but they load them 50/ for a veg thali. in comparison, the South Indian snackbar is a much cheaper one. I would suggest if they had time and would like to get only rice flour, visit the presseclub canteen, which is 7 minutes to walk from the train station. here you will get buffet breakfast with plenty of vegetables in 50/ only.
The dosa idli and sambhar of this outlet is very popular at a reasonable price....taste is decent.
Do you want to eat South Indian food? try the south Indian snack bar. very close to the South Indian taste.
This is northeast India, but South Indian snack bar offers South Indian food. they sell proven good and testi eating in cash.
This food stall is located in Platform No.1 of Guwahati Railway Station. Serves South Indian dishes, snacks and beverages. Ordered South Indian platter. Served freshly made masala dosa, idli and vada along with sambar and chutney. Found the food to be appetizing. The USP of this stall is tasty food at affordable rates. The only demerit of this eatery is that it has no sitting provisions.
