We only planned to stop here briefly to sample their offerings. We ended up spending several hours here. Shantel and Snappy answered all our questions and made great recommendations. After sampling a flight, I went with the double barrel bourbon, and my lady did a Moscow Mule with the citrus infused vodka. What a great choice! I’m not a mule person, but it was one of the best I ever had. We left with several bottles to take home and a little swag. An unexpected find, and somewhere we’ll return to next time we are in the area!
Happy hour was great 4-6pmHad old fashioned, Tom Collins, and Vodka Cranberry .This place is so beautiful and it's right in the heart of Guthrie.
I thought it was called the Wander Inn. Soothing atmosphere after a super hot, bight summer afternoon. Comfortable chairs to slouch in. Ŵe got a smorgasbord and a canned clam dish with pickled okra. All tastier than I thought. We needed more crackers. I had a Gin-gin soda which was lime juice, seltzer water, gingerale and gin. Really tasty and the gin comes separately so you can adjust it accordingly. It had the just right ambient noise to hear group conversation and not overhear other conversations. I could have stayed 2 hours, but it was late when I got started a 9pm. No beer or wine, just cocktails and appetizers.Kid-friendliness: No kids. Maybe infants okay if mom is not nursing and drinking alcohol, but who will know. . .Parking: Street 10 spots, lot, 10Wheelchair accessibility: Once you're inside, it is normal adequate.Dietary restrictions: Probably vegan and gluten free are scarce as hens teeth. Wheat crackers but if avoid that, eat with no bread, no chips, low fat, hard to resist a cheese cube, crumbled blue cheese. Smoked clams were surprisingly tasty right out of the can. Didn't try the okra, it was snapped up. The salmi rose was pretty. Hi salt, so maybe that is why my 67 year old ankles are painful today. Should drink water after you get home.
Amazing experience! We were passing though on our way to OKC and are so glad we stopped at the Wander Inn! The bartender was very knowledgeable about the product and the area, giving us both the history of the town and the bar/distillery! Atmosphere was top notch and they offer a variety of spirits and cocktails! Will definitely be back!
