Lake Jackson Seafood - Gun Barrel City

The meal was decent but not inspiring, just slightly better than a frozen dinner. The ambiance of the restaurant resembles Romania during the Ceausescu era – sparse, drab, and austere. However, it is still a step up from a Dennys restaurant.

We enjoyed some of the best seafood today. The grilled octopus was delicious, as were the frog legs, red snapper, shrimp, crab cake, and lobster tail - all excellent. The service was friendly and fast, with Rebecca as our wonderful waitress. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.

The food was mediocre and the service was average. I had to wait a long time for my drink to be refilled, almost 10 minutes. Most people come here for the hush puppies, but seafood is not their specialty. Overall, not my favorite seafood restaurant.

My sohn suggested this place, it was close to my mother and between my sonny situation, with the 4 star rating and time that we visited probably after the mother day eile around 15: 30 pm, was the condition of the table vs. booth, where I found the tables to be cleaner, the cabins had rest of crumbs and lively particles the table we sat up felt sticky and rough. in the round is eating really good and jumbo garnel high quality, salat fresh, dressing homemade, french fries boiled right, all really good, with taking maihi maihi, it was either not fresh or bad, the waitress happy back and brought something else she was attentive and very nice the service was great! the budgeting is the only reason for four star ratings that is ever the owner who was eating was excellent! work on the budgeting problem and her restaurant will be a success that is items from the menu that does not sell, or sits and becomes old. you're with the food!

The lunch special of gumbo, 2 catfish fillets, and hush puppies was delicious. My waitress recommended the gumbo with all the different types of seafood, I was only looking to get the shrimp...I'm glad I did.
