Smokin' J's Bbq - Gulfport

The portion sizes were reasonable for the prices, but unfortunately, the quality took a nosedive from there. The meat was bland, and despite the claim that it had been smoked for over 10 hours, I couldn't taste any of that flavor. The mac and cheese was even worse than boxed Kraft mac and cheese. The potato salad was disappointing, and the celery should have been chopped into smaller pieces. On a positive note, the smoked sausage was good, and the lady who took my order was fantastic. Sadly, I won’t be returning for a second visit.

OMG the BEST food I've eaten in a long time. And don't get me started on the homemade ice cream! My favorite is the Salty Balls.... Friggin awesome Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is some of the best bbq I have ever had. If you've never tried it, you're really missing out. I got the pulled pork and it's fantastic. Can't wait to go back and try the ribs and brisket.
