Mr. Tommie Cook was so AMAZING!!!! HE WAS SO KIND AND SWEET. You can tell he love his job!!!!!!! He is AMAZING!

My husband and I went last night for his birthday to try it out. We?ve had really great experiences at Island View?s other restaurants, but unfortunately we cant say the same for our experience here. We were sat promptly and our waitress was pleasant.Our Salads and drinks were probably the best part of our dinner. He got the special, which was shrimp scampi. He ate about twobites before he stopped eating. It was watery, the bread was almost stale, and it was very easy to tell the shrimp was frozen. Igot the seafood platter, and it left so much to be desired. All of the items tasted exactly the same?like old fryer grease. Forthe two of us to spend as much as we did, the food needed to be better, but it was not. We left very unhappy after our diningexperience, and upon arriving home, my husband ended up violently sick. Will not be returning.

Update: 9/27/22 A 360 degree change for the best! We did a take out. And the service was exceptional. The young lady was so versed on the menu. She made excellent recommendations accommodating the shellfish allergy. Grilled Salmon was the endresult. I am so impressed. It was cooked to perfection and tastes delicious. The side recommendations were just asgood. There are no photos because it was so good.. it wasn?t about to make a photo shoot. BRAVO, definitely a 360 change inevery aspect. ???????????????? Thank You Island View.. enjoying every minute! Early 2022.. Their menu has changeddrastically. I was just looking for a simple dish without meat or seafood. It?s non existent. So, I chose the Alfredo minusthe chicken. It?s hard to even find words for this mess they brought to the table. It?s ridiculous! Most pasta dishes have asmall amount of topping, this was drowning in cheese and cheap Alfredo. I opted for a grill cheese. It had a tiny slice oftomato and maybe 1 slice of cheese. It was hard to get past all the butter on the crust. I don?t know what?s happening to thisplace. But We won?t be back!!

Took my family and my son here for his 21st birthday dinner. Wait and hostess staff were friendly and gracious. When the food got there 2 orders were ice cold, well done steak was **** and my dinner was supposed to have risotto but was served over donepotatoes instead. Prices were too high not to say something so I asked for a manager. Manager argued with me telling me it wasrice not potatoes (she had no idea I have a diploma in cooking and catering and make risotto at home so I KNOW the difference).Then she snapped at me demanding to know what I expected her to do, remake or take it away? I told her I wanted the cold platesremade and mine taken off because I was too angry to eat now and asked for the bill. Bill looked like a jumbled mess whereseveral items were added, then taken off, then added back. It was pointed out to me that a discount was given but when Iadded up the original order (including mine) the total I paid ended up being what I would 've paid originally. I paid the billand left as I was too furious to argue anymore. My family was so upset it absolutely ruined my son 's birthday dinner. None ofus will EVER go back there!! Save your money. There are much tastier and friendlier places to eat at Island View.

Food is good, just wish there were more breakfast options
