Country Tavern Cafe - Guilford Center

Very comfortable laid back place. Usually locals that frequent the place. Staff is very friendly. Monday nights Joel is there and they have live music. His wife is one of the singers and she is amazing.Place definitely needs some updates but has that country feel to it!!

Nicely done comfort food and okay beer selection. Pegging this as a nice neighborhood Cafe, not big and apparently they have live bands, so expect it loud and crowded on weekends while quiet and sparse week nights.

Buster greeted us at the door with a smile and a wag, and like the best host ever led us to a table. He made sure the drinks were served promptly and ice cold. Buster told us which burgers his mommy made that were the bestest, and he was completely right. He made sure the floor was promptly cleaned up and settled down for his mandated 15-minute union break in his beddy underneath a table. When it was time to leave, he led us to the door and with a few ear scritches given, we were on our way. 100/10 would come back again!
