Those who chose the pears for pudding have chosen themselves well. it was delicious! we spoke our disappointment about the main courses and were not accused for them. that was a welcome and generous gesture. I can only accept (and hope) that there was a problem in the kitchen this day and that the anchor normally serves warm dishes that pierce hot on hot plates. we are happy to have a restaurant in the good food guide in front of our doorstep and look forward to a happier experience at our next visit.
Well, but wonder if it's worth the one it used to be. Perhaps the effect of inflation begins to bite and I should allow that.
We love the anchor’s cusine, but we did not have so much fun, the service and the meal was not as we expected for our previos expirience at midday time
The first day of the new weekend brunch menu and it was superb apart from toast/bread elements must be included to make it a more authentic brunch that is used by Americans and many European visitors. beautiful atmosphere and friendly, friendly staff.
A charming gastro pub with exceptional food, good service and a bit of character. Well worth the small detour off the M25/A3 distance from interchange less than 5 minutes. To walk off the delights of dining, try Wisley gardens less than 5 minutes away by car.
