In the meantime our 2nd visit, quality and quantity again top to Superfairem price, service actually also great, ambience, although not really hospitable, but expedient and well maintained. However, there is 1 problem if you have food allergies, and this is more negligence: In the current version of the menus (Stand 2022 11), the numbers contained in the food are linked as footnotes, but the corresponding explanation (at the end of the menu), for the allergens UNVOLLSTÄNDIG!!! The lack of a list was also incomplete as the staff had no feedback. For not allergy sufferers no topic, and therefore actually 5 stars for this predominant customer group. But in the constellation it is a gambling and therefore KO criterion for allergy sufferers: only because, and probably temporary, 2 star withdrawal for the small group of affected persons. It is actually just a simple lack of documentation (and so probably relatively easy to fix), but may have serious consequences: Once this gap is closed, Uncle Otto has earned the full score for allergy sufferers in our modest opinion! Another tip for hidden location: Uncle Otto shares the building with a fast food chain and the entrance: However, the marking of the fast food chain dominates completely, so easy to orient and without any discomfort is worth a visit and declassifies the Burger competition...

We were at Uncle Otto in Günzburg on Friday evening in May 2022. The restaurant is located in the petrol station building. When we arrived at 8:00 p.m., an ear-breathing sound of the children already hit us. Even without reservation we got a table, although the restaurant was very well occupied. The menu offers mainly carving in various variations. In addition, but also rag and (worst) salad. We chose a cordon beef with sharpness and pumice and a Savenger with cheese parrots. The Scavengers are really huge or with the cheese parrots there were 4 carvings. The carvings have a pleasant thickness and the panade is not fat. The sauce served is a finished product. The cheese parrots kept themselves tastefully within limits. The Cordon-Bleu, the sharpness, was also a sharp sauce applied between ham and cheese. The service was present and attentive. Really admirable as it was held in this admiration. A child ran in front of his feet. All in all, the price-performance ratio is top, we have eaten 3x. However, in the future we would only choose carvings with pommes. After predominantly families are visited here, no relaxed food is possible, even with the known fast food chains it is quieter.

We have received very large portions at fair prices here. The carvings were very thin, crispy and tasty. The service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long. The Rasthof toilet is also used by gas station and BurgerKing customers and is not very clean. The restaurant can't do that. From us clear recommendation
