Miijidaa - Guelph

The food was good and portion size just right. It is nice that it is all locally grown food and beverages. The patio area looked great but the weather was a factor so had to eat indoors. The table was a little crowded as there were 6 of us. The place was quite busy though so it is doing a really good business. I would recommend reservations for that reason.

I've had lunch at this restaurant three times in the last few months. I've really enjoyed the eggplant sandwich and most recently the crispy fish sandwich with a killer soup on the side. Service is solid, room looks and feels great and I can't get over the amazing prices on the lunch menu. I'm also greatly appreciative that they don't serve plastic straws as they are horrible for our environment.

Mike and Deanna turned our night around! After checking out other restaurants we finally found Miijidaa (and we are so happy we did) most of the tables were taken at the time we arrived but Deanna had a smile that was hard to resist! Mike was quick to come over and take our order- his attitude was infectious! It has been a long time since we have visited an establishment with staff that made you feel at home! Can't wait to see Deanna and mike again! BEST TIME EVER!

Hubby and I stopped here on our cross Canada motorcycle adventure and absolutely loved it. We chose 3 appetizers. Fried, smoked pickles, elk scotch egg and the meat and cheese plate. Soooo delicious we had to try the peanut butter salted caramel pie for desert. The service we received was excellent. In fact we loved the food, service and atmosphere so much we went back 2 days later for coffee and desert. To date it is The best place we've eaten in the 5 weeks we have been on the road.

The service was friendly and professional. the front of the restaurant was full and loud, but the back is quieter and more cozy. the waitress recommended drinks and she was prepared as mediocre and not very well. the ginger-thymiannada had no ginger. in him and too much time. very nice, but the waitress agreed to add more ingwer and it worked. the craft ipa beer I ordered came in a very small dose and was much too bitter for my taste. also here the waitress offered friendly to replace my drink, but I just switched over with my partner and we were in order. the expensive pickerel was a very good portion, but was tasteless and the accompanying fries were blunt - no salt, no taste! boring! painted edgy also did not save. the vegetarian piri piri tofu bowl of my partner was however very good with enough spicy.
