Caribbean Delight - Guelph

Service is good staff is very friendly. Food was ok the doubles were good, roti's were huge and heavy. Food making takes about 10 15mins and hence wanted to pre order if you are looking for quick pick up.

First time visiting and was really excited to try a Caribbean restaurant in Guelph and was sadly disappointed. The ladies in the front didn’t seem too keen to serve and were at some points even rude like we were bothering them for asking questions. The food was mediocre at best as we frequently enjoy great Caribbean/Jamaican food. Portions were small for the price. First and last time for us.

Saw them at the Guelph multicultural festival. Tried the Ox tail and spicy patties. Amazing! Will be going back again!

I ordered a small oxtail and waitress gave me a piece of j chicken to sample. The sides were rice and peas with steam veggies and 1 Plantain. The presentation was just okay and there is definitely room for improvement. The sides were okay I really liked the flavour of the steam veggies and the plantain complimented the meal. I honestly did not like the oxtail and it was not very tender or flavourful, the portion was very small for the price. I was also not a fan of the j chicken (but to be be honest I don't like j chicken that much in Canada to begin with because it's not very authentic) it was just okay. The place was very clean and smelled very fresh and so for their wash room very very clean and I absolutely love that. There waitress was very polite and that's exceptional in my eyes (if you know you know). Would I go back, I really don't know.

Excellent Caribbean food. Highly recommend any of the roti.
