I went there with my best friend and we had a pizza. nothing special and the paper underneath was terrible. the positive side was the waiter: nice and friendly
We thought we would stop at lunch. what a terrible mistake? Just like we get a group of Italians. a table with 2 persons outside. a family of 4. in the inner it is finished eating. someone set us. but no one has ever given us a menu. the water has given us. we asked about two times. the loud Italians, however, had 2 waiters who set up their tables. you put the forks down, the other the knives, so, are they really waiter? a few came in after us. the women ran into what I thought was the bathroom. found out the kitchen and ordered her to eat. they get their food and beer and we are still ignored and no water. not a menu. impossible to stop someone. we also tried. with 8 Italians outside. that was terrible experience. no service. no eating. after 30 minutes we left. they earn 0 in stars. don't waste your time. this place is not worth the time it takes to park your obhut. without doubt, arrogant and stupid art, leading a business.
On the hill is gubbio, which has dozens of tourist restaurants. After we had our full of this trip, we went down the hill and saw this rustic place with a sign outside that said a meal for 12 euro. the waiter was a bit...Gruff, but he served us in a real tempo (if I gave him a tip, he was shocked). the Prix-Fix was water, pasta and a grilled meat. the pasta was penne with a tomaten,- ragu- and sawn sauce. properly cooked, very tasty (dried pasta, not made after home). the grilled pork chop was nothing nice, but what it should be served with a lot of baked carrots (kartoffels something too salty for my taste, but this is the local style). brot and espresso were very good. all in all, a good value, even if too much food and I could not finish either curs. my wife had a capresa salad (good mozzarella, not so good tomaten (but to be fair, we have no good tomaten anywhere in the opposite,) excellent basilikum but not enough of it. she followed the one with grilled vegetables, which was very good, with the exception of tomatoes. olive oil with everything was very good. so not fancy, but honest eating too fair to praise.
