La Fonda - GUARDISTALLO

I assume that the owner or cook changed since the last ratings. We had Mexican food; however the only mexican thing was the name..... It was terrible. Maybe the Pizza is better.

That’s the place to go, if you want to have the best Pizza in this area. And even the Mexican Food is top quality. What a nice and beautiful place with a friendly crew providing perfect service. Hope to be back soon...already missing it.

I was so much worth spending some nights there in that lovely place, with very tastful Food doesn´t matter if you eat mexican Food or Pizza, it is delicous and fresh, and not at all expansive. It is located very confortable in this nice village and the owner is a very open and cordial Person! I look so much forward to go there again when we come back ot Italy next year!

We had to wait for so long we never got a table .The staff were really rude even though we had a baby and child and It was 10:00 .But the food looked nice .

We stayed away from La Fonda for our first few nights as we thought we should not go to a Mexican restaurant when in Tuscany; however we gave in and decided to try it and we were very pleased we did! The food is delicious, with a great choice of Mexican dishes or more authentic Italian dishes and pizzas depending on preference. They have a good selection of drinks, including lots of beers, wines and cocktails. At the end of our meal when asking for the bill the lovely waitress managed to talk us into tequila shots which actually tasted a lot better than any tequila we've had before! A charming restaurant that is well worth a visit.
