La Cantina Del Tripio - GUARDIAGRELE

The restaurant is located in a pleasantly picturesque location, in the historical center, a few steps from the most important historical buildings of the country. the first impact leaves no doubt: presenting the dishes of the Abruzzo cuisine, typical in particular of the area of the chietino, was chosen the way of refinement and elegance. the rusticity of flavors and elegance typically teatine, combine together in a winning combination, ensuring a great success, flow after flow. each single product has a precise traceability and the origin is strictly local, from the territories in the immediate vicinity. the environment is definitely chic but at the same time familiar and the owner always has the concern to make the customer feel comfortable, showing passion for his work and manifesting a wonderful availability, telling the story and the path of each dish. we have obtained several courses and we were particularly pleased with the appetizer of cheese and coconut and ova. there were other dishes, more challenging from a culinary point of view, available by reservation. considering the set of all factors, both of kitchen and of place, it can be said that the price is well balanced, although in general, for the average pocket, it is definitely not the tractor for every day.

Definitely the food is good and quality, but having waited for an hour and a half two simple guitars ruined everything. and also the arrosians were burned on the first lap and we surrendered. Maybe we happened in a “domenica no”. maybe something in the kitchen went wrong ... sin because the local is nice and cozy and definitely you eat well.

Just enjoyed a superb meal here in this small family run restaurant. The pasta was simply terrific. We ate ravioli with a homemade tomato and basil sauce and a ‘spaghetti’ with funghi dish. Both were brilliant! Throw in a delicious amuse bouche slice of pizza and follow it up with a stunning desert of ricotta and strawberries. Excellent house wine too. Delightfully friendly service as well. Best meal in Guardiagrele without a doubt!

A nice restaurant situated in a small street in Guardiagrele. Very good food, especially the pasta, served by nice helpful staff!

The menu is very varied and contains many dishes that we haven't seen in other parts of Italy. The service is friendly and helpful. Worth remembering that the restaurant is not large and is usually busy so best to book if you can.
