I can't la fonda de la nore very enough for a quiet, wonderful culinary experience.
We loved this restaurant absolutely. the building is over 200 years old and the owners are the waiters and cooks. it is really a home made cooking experience.
Beautiful that we decided to visit la fonda. the food was good and carlos made us welcome. we loved the eclectic, artsy vibe.
From the unique building with all the little mini candle lit dining rooms, the amazing art everywhere, to the incredibly warm welcome, we were charmed from the start. Then the owner introduces himself and we ask him to just bring us his favourites. Everything we...sampled was simply incredible. We had 4 beer, the bean dip, fried cheese, 2 combo plates and a delicious sample of Durango beef. All for under 550pesos. It was a hard meal to beat, but if I could have added on a craft brew and a desert option it would have been a 6 star. If you are interested in a unique experience, yet also a perfect place for a romantic date, this is the one.
This restaurant was the most beautiful restaurant that was too foot away from our airbnb, so we thought we would try it. it is hidden in a quiet opposite. we're so glad we tried. carlos was very friendly and helpful so the service was excellent. that was delicious. my man got the combination that contained a tostado, empanada, chicken and drilling. it was excellent. I must say that this was the best culinary experience that we had in guadalajara everything about it the building, the art work, the decoration, the ambiente, not to mention the food. was great! the tostadas were hard, crispy tortillas with shredded salat and meat, with a tomato slice and crema fresca. beautiful and delicious! we would like to eat here again.
