Mcdonalds In Lex - gton-Fayette

I used the kiosk to order my food but needed to pay cash, so I picked that option and went to the counter like it told me to. It took 3 people to figure out how to get my order pulled up so that I could pay for it. Finally, a manger came up and did it for them. The overall experience with the staff there was not good.

Oh boy . . . This McDonalds is right by UK campus. (if you have coupons? USE THEM!!!! Meaning, it is high traffic. Add to the mix, a ton of homeless people hanging out at ALL hours asking for handouts, etc., a very short staff, long wait times, lines, (EVEN IF YOU DO AN ORDER VIA APP THERE OR AHEAD!!! forget special orders (CHECK YOUR bag/order BEFORE you leave/drive off, trashed lobby/bathrooms, staff which thinks they are paid to be on the phone, drinking eating up front, socializing, nothing is stocked (ketchup? , do food handlers wear gloves/wash hands?, also, parking lots are a debris strewn minefield. *AGAIN CHECK orders for arctic fries/meat BEFORE YOU DRIVE OFF OR WALK AWAY FROM THE COUNTER!!! WHEW!!! YES, these are facts. Now, if you are on any level of a budget, and in a hurry; I wish you luck. Do not say you were NOT warned. This McDonalds is city-wide known for these facts, for almost a decade. Not changing. IF you are NOT on a budget, try ANY restaurant nearby. They are ALL awesome!!! Oh, welcome to campus life . . . GO KATS!!!!!!!

Food is better and service is doing better they have improved a little since last time

We can and will do much better LARRY!!! I know it may feel hard to keep up with the work flow sometimes but we've got new ways of order mood motivations that are going to make work much more enjoyable and comfortable! I don’t try to be a spiteful person but this really pissed me off I walk past this location every morning on my way to work before 6am when they say you can walk in and order but they always let homeless people inside well before 6am everyday and this morning I decided I was hungry and decided to try and go in I saw ppl sitting eating and a older black female employee stops me at the door at 5:55am and tells me I can’t come in until 6am absolutely pathetic if your going to enforce this, enforce it to everyone. How are they going to treat homeless who come in an beg for free food better than a paying customer. Absolutely pathetic
