Lee's Sandwiches In Hunt - gton Beach

I really enjoy the coffee at this restaurant, which is why I made a special effort to stop by today. However, when I paid with my card, the server did not show me the total or turn the screen around, just said "it's ready" and asked for my card. After paying, I requested a receipt when I saw something printing out, but was told that their machine was not working for receipts. I inquired about the total and considered tipping in cash, but I had concerns that the server might add a tip on their own and not show me, which made me feel uneasy. I would have been happy to leave a tip if the service was honest.

I recently paid $9.95 for a sandwich at Lee's on May 5, 2024. The price seemed quite high for a sandwich that only contained about 4 ounces of pork, some bread, and pickled veggies. I understand inflation, but this price seemed excessive. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be dining at Lee's again after this experience. I was disappointed by the value. I recommend searching for other banh mi options nearby on Google, as there are other restaurants within a mile that offer better quality banh mi sandwiches for under $7.00.
