I am from out of state, stopped in for a quick dinner. Wasn't a quick dinner. Gentleman there was working by himself. I was the only one when I arrived, but the phone was ringing off the hook, customers started pouring in. guy kept his cool, seemed to take everything in stride. I would give him another visit if I am in the area again.

I don 't normally think greasy spoon and hibachi steak in the same breath but this place makes it happen, and is a decent choice despite some weak spots. The food is largely split into 1: hibachi-style (teppanyaki-style if we 're being pedantic) meats with rice and veg and the invariably tasty 'yum-yum sauce ' and 2: bulk chicken wings. It 's very tasty! I only tried the hibachi side of the menu, but it was good for its price point, excluding other factors below. The service was neither good nor bad, employees were moving orders and attending to customers efficiently enough, but seemed somewhat low-energy. The real drawback to this place is the physical place itself: it 's not filthy, but the furnishings seem tired and the whole plot of land the restaurant occupies seems to be crumbling away. The environment and atmosphere are really what make this otherwise perfectly serviceable hibachi place seem to be almost not worth the price, so takeout is probably the best option.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. First of all, the place itself is dirty and needs a good cleaning. We waited 45 minutes for one $12 box of food that didn’t have a single taste to it. The rice was hard, good food ain’t got one bit of seasoning or taste. It was nasty and trash. We waited 45 minutes and she didn’t once say why it was taking so long. Just rudely said your food is the first to come out only for the first food to come out and she calls for the DoorDash order. If you’re not cooking food for half an hour, stop taking orders and shut the door. Don’t waste peoples time for food that belong in the trash.
