Golden Gong Chinese - Grover Beach

We came here a few months ago and had the best house of roasted rice. When we were back in the area, we just had to get out of the way to eat here again. This time had lunch special and was not disappointed. Can't wait until we get back to the area to eat some delicious food at a good price.

Might be the best Asian cuisine I have ever had! The portions are huge, the atmosphere is relaxing, the staff is nice, and most of all the food is delicious!! I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

Me and my bf come here every once in a while and we get the dinner special. It?s delicious and service is great.

I really like the Chow Fun dishes at Golden Gong! I haven't seen this dish at other restaurants in the area. My favorite is the Pork Cow Fun, but all of them are very good! I have found the service to be friendly and prompt. We've gotten takeout here twice during the pandemic, and both times were good experiences.

There aren?t a lot of Chinese restaurants in this area and those that exists aren?t great (especially if you?ve lived in a big city). This is good for here, probably can?t compete with the city Chinese restaurants like those in SF. The soup was really large even though we ordered a small. The mains were decent size. Fried rice wasn?t good, might stick to steam rice in the future
