The waitstaff treats customers poorly, as if they are dining from a dog bowl. The food was unimpressive. The NY strip steak, ordered medium, was cooked adequately, but the quality of the meat was subpar, and the portion was not worth the $19.99 price tag. The carrots tasted off, possibly due to being partially skinned, and the broccoli was fresh, but the carrots were undercooked and crunchy. The coffee was good, but the wine at $5.99 a glass was of low quality; at that price, they could have purchased an entire bottle instead. The desserts were well-prepared, although they might be too rich for some palates. It's essential to check the bill carefully, as they tend to charge for drinks that weren't ordered. The prices for desserts seem excessively high, such as $5.99 for a slice of pecan pie. For large groups, they automatically add an 18.5% gratuity based on the tax. Initially, I received a bill for two people that exceeded $87.00; the second bill was adjusted but was still higher than it should have been after a reduction of $11.99.
Beautiful place with a clean atmosphere. It's a great stop on the way to the west. The baked green tomatoes are fantastic!
