Hirpinus - GROTTAMINARDA

We were actually on the way to visit another restaurant recommended by tripadvisor when I happened to see this beautiful elegant building which I first thought of a hotel. When it turned out that the restaurant we wanted to come by was closed, we decided to go here. It was only 5 pm when we visited this restaurant so obviously it wasn't officially open yet for dinner considering people eat rather late in Italy (starting 8 or 9 pm). But the owners were very nice and welcoming us. It's a family restaurant. They spoke very little English, but they tried their best to explain each menu and it was great that they had some pictures of the dishes. We ordered steak and seafood. They were delicious especially the seafood. And the price was very reasonable. Yes, we definitely recommend this restaurant. If you want quality food, reasonable price, and beautiful place to dine, then this is the place.

Great restaurant! We were passing by and we just found out. great food, great wine, we took 2 fish appetizers, one first and 2 friggite. the staff was very kind and discreet at the same time. If that happens, we will definitely come back!
