Ciotola - GROTTAMINARDA

It is very usual in this region to find great desserts, my favorite being the Babba, a napoletan sweet that consists on a small cake with rum reduction on top. Cioyola also has paninis and some other interesting things, wifi is available and the plaza on the back is beautiful.

This restaurant was a good find for us. We stumbled upon it and were not disappointed. We had starters and main courses and a few drinks and were very pleased. The only down side of the restaurant was the fact that the staff were having a row in front of customers. Staff, please look out for your customers recognising the fact that you are not getting on well together. It’s not good for business and this is a pity as you have a good wee restaurant

We went off the Aurostrada to look for a restaurant. After we had a meal we went to look for some ice cream. The locals recommended “Ciotola”. It was a little hard to find but well worth the effort. Positively the best ice cream I ever tasted!!! The facility looks like a super expensive establishment – but the prices were real down to earth. 1 € for each flavor; I would have gladly payed two or three times as much for that quality of ice cream. On the first floor they have a magnificent tea room –resembling the tea-rooms of the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Just climb the stairs and enjoy.

Ideal place for your aperitifs and not only! staff always very friendly and efficient, all friendly and helpful! every time we're in the area we're always back with pleasure. a special mention goes to francesco, who always welcomes us with a smile
